Dr. Brandeis McBratney-Owen is a general dentist trained at the University of Melbourne. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and guiding patients to optimal oral health with personalised natural care strategies.
Brandeis received a Ph.D. in biology from Harvard University and has taught at Harvard since 2005 in such subjects as craniofacial development, genetics, and anatomy. She has also conducted research and published her findings in peer-reviewed journals. Brandeis was born and raised in California but also spent 13 years on the east coast of the US in Boston, New York City, and Washington, DC. She is very happy to now make Melbourne her home. In her free time, Brandeis enjoys reading and caring for her family. She also regularly practices ballet, pilates, and yoga.
Brandeis is a member of the Australian Dental Association.
